Description: AFM E6010P is a modified version of AFM E6010 electrode and can be differentiated by the gray coating. It has better restriking capabilities, lower spatter, and a better bead profile. It can be used for welding in the flat, vertical-up, vertical-down and overhead positions with DC reverse polarity.
Welding Characteristics: AFM E6010P will provide similar results as AFM E6010 with less spatter and a more consistent burn off. Applications: AFM E6010P is recommended for welding API grades A25, A, B, and X42 pipe and in ship-building, buildings, bridges, storage tanks, piping and pressure vessel fittings.
