Description: AFM ALLOY X is used for welding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy to itself, to
steel, to other nickel-base alloys, and for cladding steel with
nickel-chromium-molybdenum weld metal using the GTAW, GMAW, and PAW processes. AFM ALLOY X is a nonmagnetic, heat and corrosion resistant, nickel-base alloy. It derives its exceptional properties, up to 2200¡ÆF (1200¡ÆC), from solid
solution strengthening.
