Description: AFM E505-15, 16 electrodes are used for welding base metals having 6-8% or 8-10%
chrome moly content, usually in the form of pipe or tubing. The alloy is an
air-hardening material; therefore, when welding with AFM E505-15, 16, preheat
and postweld heat treatment are required.
